Maxwell equations


Maxwell equations are the basic axioms of classical electromagnetics. All of the electromagnetic phenomenon is explained by these equations.

Phenomenon means propagation in free space, interaction with matter, behaviour of waves at interfaces. Moreover they are also valid to describe the wave effects for signals in the whole spectrum, from radio frequencies and below up to optical frequencies and beyond that.
